Chicago Collections Awarded
$25,000 Grant

Increasing access to regionally-focused collections

The Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation has awarded Chicago Collections a $25,000 grant to support general operations. Over the course of this one-year grant period, Chicago Collections, along with the Chicago Cultural Alliance and the Lowcountry Digital Library/College of Charleston (SC) will work with the Foundation to keep current on trends and innovations in the collections field; this toward the goal of helping increase public access to regionally-focused collections. “This grant will allow Chicago Collections to expand its work while continuing to build a strong organizational foundation,” said Executive Director Jaclyn Grahl. “We are so pleased and honored to receive this recognition from the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation and to work with such esteemed partners.”
