From foundation to fires and fairs, alcohol has played a pivotal role in the development and evolution of Chicago. Join historian Liz Garibay for a glimpse into Chicago's fascinating brewing history. Garibay is a historian and museum professional who explores history and culture through the lens of alcohol. She has held positions at the Field Museum, the Museum of Science & Industry, the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University and the Chicago History Museum. Liz is also the Founder of the Chicago Brewseum, a museum that will highlight the dynamic history and culture of one of the world’s most vibrant industries.
