The MacArthur Funds for Arts and Culture at The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation has granted the Chicago Collections Consortium $45,000 to be dispersed over a three year period. The grant will support the Consortium’s ongoing operational needs, ensuring its continued ability to fulfill its mission of collaborating and sharing Chicago archival collections. “This gift will allow us to continue the behind the scenes work that enables us to approach access to primary resources in innovative ways,” Executive Director Jeanne Long said.

“Our work relies on grants, and all of us here at Chicago Collections are grateful for the continued generous support from the MacArthur Funds for Arts and Culture at The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation,” Long continued. “MacArthur-Driehaus has been exceptionally supportive of our work for years now, and we are honored to be recognized again this year.”
