Mary Case, University Librarian and Dean of Libraries at the University of Illinois at Chicago and co-founder of Chicago Collections Consortium, recently published an article titled “Meeting the Challenge of Collocating Metadata Explore Chicago.” The article, which appears in the Nov/Dec 2017 issue of Technicalities, gives a history of the creation of the EXPLORE portal focusing on the development of the metadata schema and Metadata Hopper.
