Join us as we recognize the accomplishments of the past year and learn more about Chicago Collections' newest members and upcoming initiatives.

Chicago Collections Consortium is proud to present its 2021 annual meeting guest speaker visual artist and author Vashon Jordan Jr. Vashon’s book “Chicago Protests: A Joyful Revolution” shares over 100 photos of more than 35 demonstrations, community events, and movements that took place during the turbulent summer of 2020, capturing this time in a unique way.

Vashon, who was born and raised in Chicago, is currently studying at Columbia College Chicago and continues to use photography and videography to showcase authentic stories and moments that reflect the people of Chicago.
