 Join Chicago Collections and Black Metropolis Research Consortium for a presentation on documentation of social movements and activism featuring Lae’l Hughes-Watkins.  Hughes-Watkins founded Project STAND, an online clearinghouse where researchers can learn about archival and historical collections on student dissent, with special focus on student groups representing concerns of historically marginalized communities.  Remarks will also be provided by Verne Harris, archivist of the Nelson Mandela Papers.
